Customer Service - Shipping & Returns
Please note you don't need a Paypal account to pay by debit or credit card through Paypal
All prices shown on the website exclude postage and packing. Shipping charges will be shown as you place your order.
Please note that you, as the customer, are liable for any import duty, taxes or customs charges arising on your order.
Dispatch of Goods
We aim to dispatch your goods within 2-5 working days of your order being made. However, if part or all of your order is out of stock, dispatch of your whole order may be delayed whilst we make your jewellery.
Whilst we do our best to keep the Character Crafts product catalogue up to date, there may be rare occasions when an item listed is no longer available. This is due to the uniqueness of some of our items. If an item you have ordered is not in stock we will contact you prior to shipping the rest of your order to discuss how you wish to proceed.
Returns & Refunds
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a “cooling off period” of seven days giving you the right to return goods for a full refund. This does not include items which have been especially made for you or have some associated hygiene requirement such as earrings.
Please use the contact form (found by the “Contact Us” link on the left hand menu panel) detailing:
We will then email you to confirm receipt and issue you with a returns number.
Please make a note of this number and include it with the items you are returning.
Please do not send jewellery back, until you have received this number.
Items returned for a refund must be returned in good condition, unused, with original packaging.
To ensure the safe return of your jewellery, please wrap the items in bubble wrap and package them in a manner that will keep them from harm.
Customers are responsible for the return shipping charge. The return postage will only be refunded when the item is deemed faulty rather than because you changed your mind.
As refunds can only be given on items received by Character Crafts, please obtain a FREE Certificate of Posting from the Post Office as proof of posting.
Once the item has been received, in good condition and the above conditions have been met, we will credit your PayPal account with the purchase price of the returned items.
For hygiene reasons, we can only accept the return of pierced earrings if they are found to be faulty.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
